CareSMS Selected for Slauson & Co.'s Pre-Seed Accelerator, Receives $150K Investment

We are thrilled to announce that CareSMS has been chosen to participate in Slauson & Co.'s highly selective Friends & Family Pre-Seed Accelerator for 2024. As part of this prestigious program, CareSMS has received a $150,000 investment from Slauson's core fund. This investment capital further validates our mission to provide intelligent digital solutions to the growing healthcare segments of in-home, mobile, and virtual care.

Slauson & Co is a leading early-stage venture capital firm based in Los Angeles. Their Pre-Seed Accelerator received over 850 applications this year from startups across 44 U.S. states. Only 20 companies were ultimately selected to join the 12-week program after a rigorous vetting process.

As a participant, CareSMS will benefit from hands-on operational guidance to scale our business from renowned coaches, speakers and Slauson's investment team. Past programs have featured influential figures like former Amazon CEO Jeff Wilke, Hyundai's former Chief Marketing Officer Jonathan Mildenhall, artist/entrepreneur will.i.am, and former Uber board member Stacy Brown-Philpot.
